New York Times: iPhone 8 price starts at $999

Recently news from the “New York Times” stated that this year Apple is preparing for the 10th anniversary celebration. Also, they are preparing to held launching of the latest iPhone 8 on September 12. Due to the new major facelift, the price will be cost as high as from $999.

According to insiders, the new iPhone 8 will have three capacity versions which are 64GB, 256GB and 512GB. The most basic version of 64GB will probably be about $999 onwards. If you want to buy a higher capacity version of course will be more expensive. In terms of hardware specification for iPhone 8, it will use 5.8-inch OLED screen while iPhone 7s and 7s Plus version is still using the LCD screen and will remove the home button, narrow border, wireless charging, face recognition unlock and other functions.

There are foreign market research (sample size 2000 users) on how likely they are to buy the new iPhone 8. 40% of iPhone users have plans to buy this new iPhone but nearly two-thirds of users think that the price is too expensive. However, there are 70% of Apple users will not consider other brands of mobile phones. As for Android users, there will be up to 79% of them will buy iPhone as their next phone.
