Apple announced on the official website on the launch of iPhone photography contest “Shot on iPhone
Apple invites you to participate in the iPhone Photo Contest. Shot on iPhone.
In the past, it was organized by the iPhone Photography Awards (IPPA) website. One ofthe largest mobile photography competition every year, many awesome photography works can be seen. It have photographers from all over the world to challenge the main price. In the past, the organizers also need to select the best photo from entries of more than 120 countries. The best works of the year are selected from the works of countries and photographers.
For the first time ,this year, Apple launch the iPhone Photo Contest on the official website. It will allow 11 photographers from different countries to be judges. They will review the photos from all over the world, and will select 10 winning photos and win the prize. Winner will be announced in February.
However, photography activities organized by Apple do not require any fees or prizes compared to IPPA, the winning photos will also be published in advertising billboards, Apple retail stores and the Internet in specific cities. Affirmed by Apple, it is more able to gain visibility and a sense of accomplishment than to receive prizes.
How to enter “shot on iphone camera” ?
Now use your iPhone and go out to shoot your most unique and prettiest photos. Then, submit your excellent photos. The details as below :
The competition starts at 4:01 pm on January 22, Malaysia time, and will close at 3:59 pm on February 8th, Malaysia time. Participants must be at least 18 years of age and Apple employees or their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this challenge.
Award date and publication
Winners will be notified on or about February 26, 2019.

On Instagram or Twitter, join the #ShotOniPhone tag or #iPhone to take part.
Sina Weibo users can also use #ShotoniPhone# or #拍iPhone# Participation.
The high resolution photo can also be transferred to email@example.com in the file naming format of “Last Name_iPhone_iPhone Model”.
You can submit photos that go straight out of the camera app, or photos that have been processed with the Apple Photo app or a third-party software editing tool.

Annet de Graaf (Netherlands)
Annet is a travel photographer who specializes in filming with the iPhone. She has two iPhone photography books, Morning Amsterdam, and the upcoming GO d’Azur, which is shot entirely on the iPhone 8 Plus. She photographed the Syrian ballet dancer Ahmad Joudeh and the portrait of the late Amsterdam mayor Eberhard van der Laan.
Luísa Dörr (Brazil)
Luísa A photographer living in Brazil, who used the iPhone to take photos for the inaugural issue of TIME, and then became famous. TIME won the annual documentary award of the famous Pictures of the Year International.
Chen Man (China)
Chen Man is a contemporary Chinese visual artist and entrepreneur who has created a unique visual language that has revolutionized Chinese fashion photography. Her work has been permanently collected in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. She also co-founded an Internet company called Vnision, which has developed several photography-based social apps, including Bigshot.
Phil helps Apple create a new look for mobile phones through the iPhone. As a senior vice president of global marketing and a passionate photographer, Phil is committed to developing breakthrough camera technology.
Kaiann worked with Apple’s talented team and served as a senior director of global product marketing, bringing many shooting tools to the public, including the first iPod touch with camera and multiple iPhones.
Brooks is a professional photographer who worked as an editor and commercial photographer before joining Apple. He was a special photographer at TIME magazine, and he has published numerous reports for the White House during Bush and Obama’s administration, and has written for seven presidential campaigns.
Sebastien is the Associate Director of Apple Software, advancing iPhone innovation with his 20 years of software development experience, focusing on the development of advanced iPhone camera features such as Smart HDR and “Portrait” mode.
Jon is an accomplished photographer and currently leads Apple’s camera software team. The images created by Jon have been published by international organizations including TIME, New York Times, UNESCO, Nature Conservancy, and Africa Geographic.
Arem is the Director of Photography for the Apple Marketing team and works closely with the world’s top photographers. He previously served as the design director for the New York Times Magazine for nearly a decade.
